The Forward Controls Design 6315 Xeno Short Compensator fits on standard AR-15 barrels with a 1/2×28 thread pitch and is designed to be compatible with Dead Air Suppressors utilizing their Xeno adapter. Being based on the popular 6315 design, this muzzle device is shorter with ports at the 3 o’clock and 9 o’clock positions, creating a better compensator performance over standard mil-spec A2 compensators, while also reducing the shooter’s dust signature by including a closed bottom on the muzzle device. The 6315 Xeno Short Compensator provides a low-profile look with a length of 1.9 inches, adding a total of 1.4 inches to the overall barrel length of your AR-15. If you decide to pin and weld this muzzle device to your rifle, the 6315 Xeno Short comes with a pinhole pre-drilled on the bottom of the device, making it a great option for 14.5-inch barrels and SBRs alike.
