Best 22WMR value ammo.
Ive been shooting Fiocchi 22WMR for 12-13 years out of a Savage 93 and I started buying Fiocchi because it was usually available and very affordable, while the prices have certainly gone up the value of the Fiocchi 40gr has not gone down. I have tried every other 22WMR commercially available from the ultra fast 30gr to heavy and slow 50gr and everything in between and I think the 40gr is the ideal all around choice. After all my experimentation I started to seek out and almost exclusively buy Fiocchi because it was the best combination of cost and performance. Fiocchi makes reliable ammo that is consistent in velocity (for rimfire) and plenty accurate. Failures to fire are an unavoidable consequence of the priming system but you can shoot box after box without running into issues so Fiocchi is no better or worse in that respect than CCI, Federal, Hornady, Winchester ect. If setting up clays on a 50yd berm and shooting them and the fragments until you have turned them to dust is your idea of a good time Fiocchi 40gr 22WMR is perfect.
