Description
The Dillon Precision Universal Decapping Die is a specialized tool used by high-volume reloaders to deprime brass without resizing the case. This is particularly useful for those who prefer to deprime cases before cleaning them in an ultrasonic cleaner or stainless steel media tumbler, ensuring the primer pockets are thoroughly cleaned.
Unlike standard depriming units found in sizing dies, this die features an auto-centering spring-loaded decapping pin. This design allows the pin to find the flash hole even if the case is slightly misaligned, significantly reducing the frequency of broken or bent pins when processing military brass or mixed-range pick-ups.
- Universal Fit: Capable of depriming most pistol and rifle calibers, from .22 Hornet up to .458 Lott.
- Durability: Constructed from heat-treated steel to withstand the pressures of thousands of cycles.
- Versatility: Compatible with any reloading press that accepts standard 7/8″-14 threaded dies, including the RL550, XL750, and single-stage presses.
