If you built a 9mm Blowback operated AR-15 then you probably found out they can have some sharp recoil. With the Cross Machine Tool Mini Combat Recoil Compensator, you can mitigate some of that un-intended muzzle rise. This 9mm compensator features a two-chamber design with upward facing ports that direct excess gas outward to reduce felt recoil as well as muzzle rise. It is machined from stainless steel with a salt bath Nitride finish for durability and corrosion resistance and is threaded 1/2×28 for compatibility with most barrels. There are no downward facing ports to reduce the amount of dust kick-up when shooting in the prone position and the top ports are angled to reduce muzzle flash in front of iron sights or optics. Included with this 9mm muzzle device is a crush washer for installation. Made in the USA, it is full auto rated and features a surface hardness of 68RC, so you know it will last a lifetime of use. It has an outside diameter of .862” and is 1.742” long, so there should not be any clearance issues with handguards.

So nice I had to do it twice
Purchased what I thought was simply a "cheap" muzzle device for a junk AR9 build I'd decided to make as my first PCC. It performed unexpectedly well, so I purchased another one for use on my nicer AR9 build, and I'm happy with how well it works on a 16" barrel, as well as the 9" barrel. If you want something similar to the VG6 Gamma, this should fill that gap at a great price point.
