The Centurion Arms cold hammer forged 5.56 AR-15 barrels are made from high quality 41V50 Chrome Moly Vanadium—steel specifically designed for machine gun barrels—so you know it will last thousands of rounds. In order to get the 1:7 twist rate, the barrel blanks are placed on a mandrel and compressed with power hammers to create extremely consistent and smooth lands and grooves with the benefit of work hardening the steel to improve durability. The bore and chamber are then chrome lined to create a surface that is harder than the steel which aids in longevity, and smoother which aids in extraction and overall reliability.

Monty LeClair Does It Again
This is a outstanding barrel made by a former U.S. Navy SEAL Team 3 Sniper in Indiana USA. Larry Vickers U.S. Army 1ST SFOD-D Delta Force retired is also a longtime friend and owner of Centurion Arms products. What is not to like about it? When you grow tired of cheaper options that aren’t the best and are after “more” this is it! I was just happy to find some in stock and get one. They sellout very quickly and I would say at least 60% of owners don’t even know the history. They just know it is a top quality barrel.
