Unreliable Operation
It is starred and mentioned may not work with gen 5 mags. Adding that it may not work with gen 4 mags as well. After trying on several gen 4 & 5 mags to no avail. When the mag is fully loaded the follower gets hung up on the left front with the lead side facing forward. Rating at two stars as the customer support is responsive, but the product is questionable. Their solution to the fix is to shave down the lip on the magazine body, so the follower does not get hung up. All this was done and still having issues of the follower hanging up. Mag extension works with 17 rounds or double spring the follower and you can operate with 18 rounds with no issues. This is not ideal, because this defeats the purpose of getting a +5 extension. They need to get back to R&D on this one, could truly be a solid product. Hopefully a rev 2.0 will be in works in the near future.
