It is forged from 7075-T6 aluminum and is Type III Class 2 hardcoat anodized black to military standards. It features a flat top picatinny rail and is compatible with standard upper parts. M4 feed ramps correspond with the feed ramps on your barrel extension to aid in reliability. The CM4 stripped AR-15 Upper Receiver is what you need for your next build.

Good upper
Good upper with a close fit to my lower. Very little wiggle. It has the slot cut for the alignment pin the works with Centurion Arms handguards. The upper I recieved was mil spec cut, not thermal fit. The description did not say either way, so you are taking a chance on what you get. Centurion Arms makes them both ways. There are T marks in the top rail and a Centurion Arms logo on the side. Everything else is a good quality standard forged upper. No problems.

I started building my new upper with Centurion Arms. The upper looked good, but my DD barrel slid right in with some wiggle room. I heard their QC has slipped some. The barrel sits about 18th-1/16th from the receiver feed ramps. I haven't been to the range to try it out yet. I'll amend my review afterwards.
