Blue Force Gear RED Swivel Gen 2 1.25-Inch - RED-125

In high-stakes tactical environments, every second counts when you need to free yourself from your weapon. The Blue Force Gear RED Swivel Gen 2 1.25-Inch delivers a patented Rapid Emergency Detachment system that replaces traditional push-button QD swivels with a reliable straight-pull release mechanism.

Key Features

• Straight-pull emergency release: Requires only about 7 lbs of force for quick detachment—no fine motor skills or push-pull action needed, even under stress, with gloves, or in cold conditions.
• Accidental release protection: Sphero-conical knob design and off-axis pull resistance (beyond 10-15 degrees) prevent unintended detachment from brush, doorways, vehicles, or gear.
• Wide compatibility: Fits standard push-button QD sockets, Burnsed Sockets, and rail-mounted sockets on popular handguards, stocks, and accessories from manufacturers like Daniel Defense, Magpul, and others.
• 1.25-inch loop: Optimized for wider sling webbing such as 1.5-inch straps, providing secure attachment with appropriate clearance.
• Durable construction: Machined steel body with phosphate finish for corrosion resistance, stainless steel internals, ball bearings, and aircraft-grade cable.

Why Choose This Product

Designed specifically for airborne, maritime, vehicular, and urban operations where sling entrapment poses a real risk, the RED Swivel Gen 2 enhances safety without sacrificing performance. Its intuitive design solves common pain points with standard QD swivels by enabling rapid, reliable release when it matters most, while maintaining secure attachment during normal use. Engineered for professionals who demand precision and dependability, this swivel integrates seamlessly into any tactical loadout.

FAQs

How does the RED Swivel differ from standard QD swivels?
It uses a patented straight-pull knob instead of a push-pull button, requiring minimal force and no fine motor skills for emergency release while resisting accidental detachment.

Is the 1.25-inch version suitable for my sling?
Yes, it is ideal for wider webbing (such as 1.5-inch slings); the 1-inch version is better suited for standard 1.25-inch Vickers-style slings.

Does it require maintenance?
Like all push-button swivels, periodic oiling is recommended to ensure smooth operation, especially after exposure to harsh conditions.
