Frequently Asked Questions

1. Is the Atrius Super Selector compatible with my AR-15 trigger?
Yes, it works with mil-spec triggers featuring a squared-off trigger bar. Ensure your fire control group meets these specs for optimal performance; aftermarket triggers may require verification.

2. Does installation require any modifications to my firearm?
No major modifications are needed—it’s a drop-in replacement for your factory safety. However, due to varying receiver tolerances, minor fitment adjustments might be necessary.

3. Why might the selector not sit perfectly flush with the receiver?
This is normal and due to manufacturing tolerances in lower receivers. The Atrius design prioritizes function over aesthetics, ensuring secure operation without impacting reliability.

Compatibility Notice:

• Certain platforms, such as AR9 variants, may require professional gunsmithing to ensure proper function of the selector lever.

• Firearms modified to “Super Safety” specifications may not be compatible with components designed for our FRS system, as the Atrius Safety Device features a solid lever cam design.

• The Super Safety system incorporates a 15-degree tolerance due to its dovetail construction, which may allow for limited over-travel before the cam surface disengages from the trigger bar.

Selector Screw and Torque Spec: T10 screw, 4/40 thread, selector spring. We recommend 15 in/lbs with blue loctite only.

Please Note: This Atrius FRS will not work with AR-10(LR308)/SR-25 platforms without significant gunsmithing. In the near future we will be coming out with a model specifically catered to these platforms.

Important: All modifications should be performed by a qualified gunsmith. Improper installation or unauthorized modification may result in malfunction or unsafe operation. Use and modify at your own risk. The manufacturer assumes no liability for damages or injuries resulting from incorrect installation or use outside of intended specifications.

ALG Defense QMS Quality Mil-Spec Trigger

The ALG Defense Quality Mil-Spec (QMS) Trigger takes the bomb-proof reliability and durability of a standard Mil-Spec trigger and removes the majority of grittiness you’re used to. Like a proper Mil-Spec trigger, the pull will not fall below the 5.56 lbs specified for the M4 or M16, making it an ideal option for shooters who need to meet regulations but don’t want to settle for a gritty, inconsistent pull.
