Great Budget AR Pistol
First, my AR pistol is definitely worth the money. Some gun elitists refer to Anderson as the poverty pony. Yet many people, including me, use their lowers for AR builds. I have never had an issue with an Anderson lower so I decided to take a chance on this complete .300 BLK 10.5” AR pistol (B2-K870-C006). It is a great value, and I give it 5 stars! I ordered this on a Friday, and it was shipped from NC to my local FFL in FL by the next Thursday (6 days). When I picked it up at my FFL, I immediately went into their gun range to see how it ran straight out of the box, with no cleaning or lube. Fit and finish are good. It is as pictured except for having a polymer mag rather than a metal mag. After a quick inspection including removing the upper, BCG, charging handle (CH), I reassembled it, loaded a few mags with S&B 147gr FMJ ammo, and started shooting. Again, no cleaning or lube. It ran flawlessly! I expected to have issues with the included no name 5.56x45 mag so I had spare .300 BLK PMAG, Lancer, and Duramag Speed mags on hand but I did not need them. However, I used all these mags to test them out and the AR pistol ran flawlessly with all of them. I also had a spare BCG, CH, heavy buffer, and heavy buffer spring on hand in case I had cycling issues but I did not need them. It is not overgassed or undergassed. This thing just runs as it and ejected spent brass at about 3:30-4:00. The only thing I will change initially is the CH, which has a hard, gritty pull that will probably improve with cleaning, lube, and break-in. However, I will replace it with a better, ambidextrous CH. Finally, the Customer Service reps (Carson and Sierra) were outstanding in helping me quickly resolve an issue with my order. I am happy and have no regrets with this purchase. Thank you!
