Does what it’s suppose to
I’m not sure if this spring is essential for a piston rifle, but I added it anyway along with a roller cam pin. Helps the bolt push out of the BCG during its unlocking cycle of operation. Just keep in mind, when you add a spring like this, you add a potential point of failure; just keep an eye on its condition during cleanings and have a couple extras on hand.
