Shipping Policy

Our goal is to ship your order within 1-3 business days. Possible exceptions include:

  • Items which require custom assembly or Cerakote
  • FFL items
  • Black Friday / Holiday Sales

Rush Processing

By purchasing Rush Processing ($9.99), your order will be moved to the front of the line. The order must be received by 12PM EST to ship same business day. Orders received after 12PM EST will be processed next business day. (This service does not include expedited shipping).

Multiple Fulfillments

You can use the Order Lookup feature to verify if your order has multiple fulfilments. Split orders cannot be combined.

Depending on the availability of product in one or more of our fulfillment centers and/or the specific product(s) ordered together, shipments may be split. This will be indicated by any of the following characters (or combination of):

  • -1
  • -2
  • -NC
  • -CA

Orders containing both regulated/non-regulated items may be split into multiple fulfillments.

    • 2-5 business day delivery
    • Cannot ship ammunition or regulated items 
    • Shipments to Hawaii, Alaska, Guam and Puerto Rico:
      • Under 1lb ship via plane
      • Over 1lb ship via boat and may take 4-6 weeks for delivery
  • FedEx Ground (business address only)
    • Monday – Friday delivery (no weekends)
    • 1-5 business days (depending on location)
    • Delivery time – by 8pm 
  • FedEx Home Delivery (residential address only)
    • Deliveries every day of the week (no exclusions)
    • Delivery time – by 8pm. 
  • FedEx Express Saver (business or residential address)
    • Monday – Friday delivery (no weekends)
    • Delivery time – by 8pm
  • FedEx 2Day (business address only) 
    • Monday – Friday delivery (no weekends)
      • Orders shipped Thursday will be delivered Monday

Ammunition Shipping Notice

Ammunition may only be shipped to the lower 48 contiguous states. We cannot make international shipments.

Permit/ID Required:

  • Connecticut: ID and one of the following, Long Gun eligibility certificate, Pistol/Revolver eligibility certificate, Permit to Sell Pistol/Revolver, Permit to Carry Pistol/Revolver 
  • Massachusetts: ID and one of the following, License to Carry, Firearms Identification Card (FID) 
  • Illinois: ID and Firearm Owners Identification Card (Includes Chicago, ammunition transfer ban overturned in 2014, many vendors avoid shipping there still, plenty of space in the market). The address on the FOID must match the shipping address on the ID/Drivers License and the order.
  • New Jersey: ID and Permit to Carry a Handgun or Permit to Purchase a Handgun (NO HOLLOW POINT HANDGUN ROUNDS, exceptions being if the tip is filled like Hornady Critical Defense) 
  • Rhode Island: ID and Pistol/Revolver Safety Certificate or License to Carry.

FFL/NFA/Regulated Items

We must have the receiving businesses FFL/SOT/CFD on file before the order can be processed and shipped. 

  • FFL (Federal Firearms License) – required for any regulated item shipments
  • SOT (Special Occupational Tax) – required for any NFA item shipments:
    • Suppressors
    • Short barreled rifle
  • CFD (California Firearms Dealer number) – required for regulated item shipments to California

Once payment has been completed for a regulated item, you will be prompted to either choose a FFL from our database or enter the information manually.

  • If entering the information manually, have the business email the license to [email protected] and reference your name and/or order number for quicker processing. 
  • If you choose a FFL from our database, you are still responsible for reaching out to confirm:
    • They are accepting new transfers
    • You are willing to pay their transfer fees
  • Expedited shipping methods are contingent upon receiving/confirming the required documents/information from the FFL.  

Order Arrived Damaged/Missing Contents 

Please keep all packaging: bubble mailer, box, packing material, packing slip, etc. Sending photos with your initial email will ensure a claim is filed in a timely manner.  

Please keep all items from the order even if: damaged/blemished/broken/missing contents from the package/etc. Failure to keep items will void the option to receive a refund/replacement/store credit.

Photos of the packing slip will assist with our internal investigation at our warehouse facility.

If your order shipped in a box and arrived damaged, the carrier may request an inspection. This may include a carrier driver inspecting at your business/residence or the damaged box being taken to a carrier hub/facility. We won’t know what the carrier will request until the claim is submitted

Tracking says my package was delivered but I can not locate it, what do I do?

You must reach out to us within 7 days from the date of delivery in order for us to begin our internal investigation and file a claim with the carrier and to receive a replacement, refund/gift card for the order. 

Some claims may require a police report. 

Carrier Claims

USPS Ground Advantage – After 15 days / Before 60 days from date of delivery.   

UPS – Any Shipping Method – Can file immediately  

FedEx – Any Shipping Method – Can file immediately 

Tracking – Not scanned

Once tracking has been assigned, your order has been fulfilled and is ready for the carrier to pick up same or next business day. We do not print shipping labels until boxes are taped up and mailers are sealed.

Most carriers will scan the package into their possession once it reaches a sorting facility (could be anywhere from 1-5 days after tracking has been sent via email). There are instances where tracking may take longer to update/show received by the carrier. 

  • Carrier contractor assigned to pick up packages (they typically don’t have scanners)
  • Holiday season (increase in packages being shipped) 

We cannot file a trace request/claim/package search with the carrier until they have scanned it into their system. If tracking does not update after 10 business days, please contact us through the Email link on the site. 

Tracking – Delayed / No Movement

It is not uncommon for shipments to be delayed beyond our control. Reasons may include:

  • Inclement weather
  • Mechanical failures by the carrier
  • Holiday season (increase in packages being shipped) 

This can result in a tracking status:  

  • “In Transit – Arriving Late”  
  • “Delayed” 
  • “Shipment exception – Delayed beyond our control” 
  • “Scheduled delivery – Pending” 

If 15 days have passed without movement, we will proceed with a replacement or refund.  

“No Movement” refers to the date on the last tracking status update from the carrier.

Norton Shopping Guarantee Package Protection (NSG)

Customers who purchase Norton Shopping Guarantee Package protection are covered for the following:

  • Lost package
  • Stolen package
  • Damaged package/item(s)
  • Lowest Price Guarantee
  • Identity Theft Protection

NSG Protection may only be refunded before the order receives tracking details. Once tracking has been assigned, it is no longer refundable as that is when the protection becomes active for the order.
