Great Value
I love RRA products and this upper is no exception. I am always worried about the fit and tolerances with billet receivers, but this upper fits snug and I am quite happy. And, unlike most AR9 uppers, this one is not drilled to receive a gas tube (don't need one, it's a blowback) but it is cut to accept a dust cover. Both are positives in my book. If you order part 9MM0048K from the RRA website, put in the notes you'd like a shortened ejection port cover pin for the RRA upper and they should be able to make it happen.

Great product overall
was very happy with the finish quality. the one minor issue with this upper is it won’t just work with any handguard your either need to order a handguard with no alignment tabs or grind down the alignment tabs on your handguard of choice as the upper is thicker from the ejection port up than a mil spec upper where the alignment tabs on most handguards meets the upper also you can find an ejection port cover for this upper right on Rock river arms website here is the part number as it is a little hard to navigate there website if you put this in the search on rock river arms 9MM0048K it will bring you to the shortened ejection port cover kit you need for this upper

overall it's a decent upper except my mil-spec charging handle would not fit. I had to sand the ears on the handle a bit so it would drop into the upper. Not a huge deal but something to keep in mind. There is also a short dust cover kit from Rock River you can get for 7.99 if you want a dust cover.

I got this to build a Silver 9 mm Pistol. Hands on it is lite, machining kooks good, I trimmed a silver dust cover to fit. On a side by side comparison with a forged upper both sitting on the picatinny rail, I noticed a clearance of .093 -109. (3/32-7/64) to tight for the charging handle, (this was mentioned in another review) I placed the upper in a jig and with a .100 jewelers bit, I machined it to spec. in a mini lathe. Now protecting the interior anodizing, I will blast the exterior to a clean silver, and topcoat with KG Gun Kote semi gloss clear. AS stated in the title if you can...
