BCM MK2 Intermediate Buffer Mod 1 T1 4.7 oz - Buffer

Engineered for AR-15 builders who demand refined recoil control, the BCM MK2 Mod 1 T1 Buffer delivers consistent performance in a compact 4.7 oz intermediate-length package. Designed exclusively as part of the MK2 Recoil Mitigation System, this buffer helps reduce felt recoil while maintaining the reliability critical for defensive, competition, or precision applications.

Key Features and Benefits

• 4.7 oz T1 weight – Ideal for fine-tuning over-gassed rifles, whether suppressed or unsuppressed, to achieve optimal ejection patterns and cycling.
• Internal counterweight with dedicated spring – Minimizes bolt bounce through increased travel distance and reduces audible shifting for a quieter, more consistent operation.
• 7075-T6 aluminum construction with hard-coat anodizing – Provides exceptional durability and corrosion resistance in demanding environments.
• Compatible with M16A4 rifle-length action spring – Features more coils than standard M4 carbine springs, expanding the operating envelope and promoting smoother carrier velocity for improved accuracy and reliability.

Technical Specifications

Important Compatibility Requirements

This buffer is intended solely for use with the BCM MK2 Receiver Extension and a Mil-Spec M16 rifle action spring on AR-15 receiver platforms. It is not compatible with standard carbine or pistol-length buffer tubes. Using incompatible components may result in damage or injury.

Why Choose the BCM MK2 Mod 1 T1 Buffer

Unlike conventional carbine buffers, the MK2 Mod 1 T1 provides a wider tuning range for modern gas systems and suppressors. Its internal spring and counterweight design addresses common issues like inconsistent velocity and bolt bounce, delivering a smoother shooting experience without sacrificing the reliability you expect from Mil-Spec components.

Upgrade your AR-15 recoil system with the precision-engineered BCM MK2 Mod 1 T1 Buffer and experience refined performance on every shot.
