  • How Dirty Bird Industries Got Its Start

Brothers Jay and Dustin Pitcher founded Dirty Bird Industries in 2015 in a Bakersfield, California garage. They were AR builders first, and Cerakote finishing soon became part of the business. They put that experience and passion into a line of AR parts everyday builders could count on, guided by the motto “Equip Every American to Build Better.”

AR-15 Parts for Every Stage of the Build

Start with a lower receiver, then add a lower parts kit, buffer kit, and trigger. The NOLO, short for No Logo, is a forged 7075-T6 aluminum lower with a blank left side you can leave clean, engrave, or Cerakote. It is hard-coat anodized, accepts mil-spec parts, wears a MULTI caliber marking, and is made in the USA. Up top, choose an upper receiver, SMRS M-LOK handguard, barrel, gas parts, and a Dirty Bird Industries bolt carrier group. Much of the Dirty Bird Industries line carries a limited lifetime warranty. Want to skip the parts hunt? Grab a complete upper or use our configurators.

The Ready-to-Go Dirty Bird Industries Falcon

The Falcon is a complete 16-inch 5.56 midlength AR-15 with an M-LOK handguard and the Atrius Super Selector. That third selector position gives your trigger a faster reset for quick, controlled follow-up shots, and semi is one flip away. Add an optic and go, or choose the package with a Holosun ARO sight. The Dirty Bird Industries Recce rifles, including California-compliant versions, are ready to go too. Check your state and local laws before you order.

    Dirty Bird Industries FAQ

Is Dirty Bird Industries a good brand?

Yes. Dirty Bird has built AR-15 parts since 2015, and much of its catalog is listed as made in the USA with a limited lifetime warranty. Its bolt carrier groups, triggers, lowers, and complete uppers are a strong value for first builds and upgrades alike.

Are Dirty Bird Industries parts made in the USA?

Many are. Listings for its lowers, upper receivers, triggers, buffer kits, Sand-Cut BCG, and SMRS Gen 2 handguard say they are made in the USA. Not every listing does, so check the product page for the specific part.

What is Dirty Bird Industries known for?

Dirty Bird is known for dependable, fairly priced AR-15 parts. Its bolt carrier groups, triggers, NOLO forged lowers, SMRS M-LOK handguards, and complete uppers lead the way. The Falcon rifle with the Atrius Super Selector is its standout ready-to-go option.

Are Dirty Bird Industries complete uppers good?

They are a strong pick for a fast build. The complete uppers we carry pair an M-LOK handguard with a high-pressure-tested, magnetic particle-inspected BCG and a billet charging handle. They also come with a limited lifetime warranty.

Do Dirty Bird Industries complete uppers include a BCG and charging handle?

The complete uppers we carry, including the 16-inch, 10.5-inch, and 7.5-inch models, include both. Stripped and assembled upper receivers do not, and configurator builds depend on your selections. Confirm the contents on the product page.

Are Dirty Bird Industries handguards M-LOK compatible?

The SMRS handguards are M-LOK, and so are the handguards on the complete uppers, Falcon, and Recce rifles. The ASAL quad rails use a traditional four-rail design instead of M-LOK slots.

Will Dirty Bird Industries parts fit a standard AR-15?

Its AR-15 components are built for mil-spec AR-15 rifles, so they work with standard receivers and parts. The catalog also includes AR-10, 9mm, .22LR, and Glock parts, so match each listing to your platform.

What warranty comes with Dirty Bird Industries parts?

Many listings say the part is backed by the Dirty Bird limited lifetime warranty, while some shorten it to lifetime warranty. Cosmetic finish wear is excluded on some items, so check the product page for coverage details.

Are Dirty Bird Industries triggers good for an AR-15 build?

Yes, they are a clear step up from a heavy mil-spec trigger. Choices include a two-stage group with a 4 to 5 pound total pull and a nickel Teflon single-stage group. There is also a 3.5-pound quick reset drop-in that fits mil-spec forged and billet lowers.

Where can I buy Dirty Bird Industries parts online?
