The ODIN Works Tunable Low Profile Gas Block allows precision tuning of the gas system on any standard or suppressed AR-15. It’s adjusted by rotating the tuning screw to your desired depth. Then it’s locked in place with the set screw. The tunable gas block is machined from a solid block of 303 Stainless Steel for strength. It has stainless steel tuning screws for corrosion resistant adjustment. This one is made specifically for barrels with the .750”-inch diameter gas journal and it’s small enough to fit inside most handguards. The grooves machined into the surface keep it lightweight and are aesthetically pleasing. These gas blocks also come with all Direct Impingement ODIN Works Barrels.

United StatesGreat to tune your gas setup
These are great for tuning the gas setup on your rifle/pistol. If you are custom building a gun, definitely have a tunable gas block so you can adjust the gas to perfectly with your buffer and buffer spring setup. All systems tend to work a little differently. I’ll never run fixed gas blocks again. While you can adjust this one while shooting if you want to go from suppressed to unsuppressed, it’s a little more work compared to the “adjustable” gas block offered by Odin works. The downside to the adjustable block is you need to periodically remove the adjustment screw and detent for cleaning.

I received this gas block for FREE when I bought the 16" 223 Wylde barrel and was thinking this was a good deal since I have used other Odin Works adjustable gas blocks with the "detent screw style" but not this particular type of GB using 2 set screws after building my new AR15 up for 3 gun competition I went for back to back 3 gun matches and at the second event the rifle stopped working....OMG.! After having to take a DNF at the match I went home and found the locking set screw and first set screw for the gas adjustments fell out I'm talking BOTH set screws and I used Loctite on the second set screw. I'm no rookie at installing gas blocks on AR's and this is the first time I ever have seen this so I have removed this gas block from the rifle and will not ever use this style again since the extreme heat and pressure from the gas system works against this set screw style GB and Loctite didn't hold.... don't put yourself in a position to have gun failure especially when it is needed the most, again I like Odin Works products and have been very happy with everything they produce but here is something to avoid if you plan on running your rifle hard in competition.

Very good fit and finish, easy to install, and easy to adjust. I really like how they have a "jam nut" type of lock. It is great for setting and forgetting, but not really great for active tuning. If you are wanting to easily adjust your gas pressure back and forth on the fly for different rounds, this really isn't the best block for you. However, if you want to adjust down to the lowest gas needed to cycle your lowest pressure rounds, then leave it for running all other rounds, this is perfect for you! I wish they would release the black again, but even in unfinished, it is a great gas block!
Seems to work well, but not ideal for quick "on the fly" adjustments.
Newly installed and after the first few rounds to find the minimum gas needed, then locked it in, and put another 50+ rounds down range without any issues. It was easy to install and easy to adjust. Though it isn't really that easy to adjust "on the fly" like other more expensive blocks. But that is why this is nearly 1/2 the price also. So if you want to adjust down for the minimum gas, and then plan on keeping it there, this will work great! I only wish it was available in black oxide, or other black protective coatings.
