So far I’m happy
I read reviews of people having cycling issues with their rifle due to the XL gas system length. I did not have this issue. I have the 6 ARC 18 inch Odin works barrel, tuneable gas block, Odin work BCG, carbine buffer spring and H1 buffer. This is the recommended parts from Odin Works. My rifle functions perfectly, I even had to reduced the gas. As far as performance of the barrel so far so good. I have 20 rounds total down the barrel and the it shot a 3 shot group that’s was .6 MOA and one that was .7 MOA. It also shot a 5 shot group that was .9 MOA. This was with Hornady Precision Hunter. I only had a thread protector, no muzzle device. When I removed the thread protector, no muzzle device, the groups went over 2 inches.

Havent really used it yet, but for the price in 6mm arc how could I ignore it? Besides it is so attactive with its genius packaging, I decided it should be displayed as a coffee table center piece. Until wife said not! Anyhow, I like it alot so far, and expect a legendary rifle.

USUpdate - The Barrel Shoots Sub MOA and the Rifle Operates Correctly
This is an update of my previous review. Yesteray’s trip to the range enables me to say that this barrel will shoot. It’s always Caveat Emptor. I had no idea why a Rifle +2 gas tube was being used and 6mm ARC barrels were hard to find. So, I bought the barrel when AR15discounts had an attractive sale price for it. Here are the things I did to get this barrel to perform, and it does now perform. It might be different if you intend to run a suppressor. I have no experience with that. 1. Loosen the gas block and remove it from the barrel a. Clean any adhesive goop from the barrel and from the gas port in the gas block 2. Visually adjust the tuning screws to whatever position you prefer. My tandem adjustment screws are each 0.381” long. I adjusted mine to be wide open and that leaves about 0.061” of the 2nd screws exposed from the face of the gas block. a. Even though I used Blue Loctite between the 1st and 2nd screw, there is some minor gas leakage. b. Since I am running this gas system wide open, I plan to replace the Odin Works Tunable Gas Block with a standard low profile steel gas block to conserve what gas can be applied to operating the action. 3. I replaced a standard weight buffer with a 2.75 oz buffer. 4. I replaced the standard carbine buffer spring with the SpringCo 20% (yellow) reduced carbine buffer spring. These steps were by trial and error, showing incremental improvement with each step. However, the system did not operate as intended until the clogged by Odin Works gas block issue was cleared, a lightened carbine buffer was substituted, and the SpringCo 20% reduced carbine buffer spring was used. Now this barrel shoots and the action cycles. Since making these changes incrementally over the several months that it took to figure this out, I have only had a single failure to feed and that occurred on a Hornady factory, 108gr ELD Match round that blew a primer, go figure. So that is no mark on the barrel and rifle as configured. This barrel now shoots sub moa and the rifle operates as intended. I like how it shoots now and the benefit of hindsight says that absent a special condition requiring reduced gas, a rifle length gas system on a 6mm ARC barrel is probably just fine. Odin works continues to ignore my request for support. So this barrel gets a 3 star rating for the required self-taught effort, time, and money that it took to get it running and the poor customer service and the knowledge desert sustained by Odin Works for their rifle+2 tunable rig.
